Final Update for Pond Hockey Schedule

Team Captains,

Weather has not been cooperating in helping us prepare, or even for the weekend. We are making the best of it and have reworked the Schedule several times now to perfect the one that is now Posted on our Site:

Game Schedule

We now have all 6 rinks open. Since Rain is expected on Sunday, we have tuned the Schedule to all work inside of one day(Saturday). Earlier Start, Later finish and all rinks humming with games will still give everyone a 4 game minimum. if the weather should improve on Sunday, we will give everyone bonus play for those that want to get even more ice time, since we have rinks sitting there(to be decided Sat night).

Please Read all the way down…This info about Parking & Friday night Orientation was in the last Email, that many Captains are still asking questions about. These are what we still get asked about mostly

PARKING at High School and catch Shuttle
Friday Night Orientation at Vistors Center 6pm to 9pm, (not mandatory, but recommended to make Check-in go quicker on Sat morning)
Hotels still available for the deal…mention “Hockey” get room for only $59, please get a Room!

Here are the expectations:

Everyone going onto the Lake MUST Sign Waivers (strict rule from owner of lake “Brookfield Renewable”)

No Beer out on the Lake, provisions are made to be more accommodating on shore (100 feet away).
Hospitality Tent at The Boat House
Bonfire Pit at Boat House
Fire pits & Chairs at Silver Birches(Rinks #5 and 6)
Ice Deck at The Dock/Silver Birches
Labatt Blue Specials on Tap at all 3 bars: (Boat House, The Dock, Greshams Chop House)

Rinks- North(Boat House) & South(Silver Birches)
They are one half mile apart and you will be playing at both
It’s a 10 minute skate between them, but no promise that the Ice is skateable outside of our rinks (pacth Cleared but no resurfaced)
Allow plenty of time to catch the Bus (not Walkable via highway)

*USE PARKING at Wallenpaupack Area High School (Do not Park at Boat House or The Dock/Silver Birches! We cannot disturb regular patrons)

*Shuttle Buses have been contracted by Tournament to make regular stops at venues and nearby Hotels. It is only 2.5 miles from Parking to the rinks, so the bus should not take long to make a complete loop. Use the Shuttle and leave the car parked.
*Map & Shuttle Stops attached
